Supernova
Supernova is a hybrid between a point-and-click and a visual novel with inspiration from games like Coffee Talk. You are playing as Dmi, a gas station employee on Mars’ moon. The solar system is reaching its end, and a supernova will wipe out everything in three days. You’re clocking in. Most people have relocated already, but a few people are still around. Who will you meet in those last three days?

SOBBING WEEPING BAWLING MY EYES OUT SO BEAUTIFUL AND SO SAD UGHHGHHG
This was such a beautiful but sad story
the writing, audio design, the background art, character design... every component put together in this game made it what it is: a genuinely delightful, with a touch of bittersweet, experience.
u can really feel how much heart and effort was put into this game and it really paid off.
i was SO engaged w/ the characters and worldbuilding, and the ending is so heartbreaking in the best way possible. the lighthearted moments really just made me put my guard down even when i knew this submission is for a doomsday themed game jam (plus the narration never lets u forget that the end is near), i still just didnt see it coming!!
even tho its a short game (that i hope to see more of it in the future), it gets its point across just right.
i recommend it a lot!
